You never know who is struggling inside. As a society, we've become masters a masking and creating a fake image, which makes it difficult to know when those we care about might need a little extra support.

It can be challenging to find available resources. Here are a few local places I have had personal experiences with, and there are many others in the area to:
CCNC of Morehead City 1(910)938-1114
Port Health of Morehead City 1(252)222-3144
Therapy services www.StepOutCounseling.com
Hope Mission Peer Center 1(252)240-2359
Mark Benson Psychological Services testing and therapy 1(252)207-0545
Ricky's Retreat Peer Support community center www.rickysretreat.com
Access point free Trilliuim service www.TrilliumNCAccessPoint.org
*Did you know, if you come across a situation in the community where there is a possibility of the individual experiencing symptoms of a mental health crisis, you can ask for a CIT officer on scene, as they have more training regarding mental health?
